Check-in for both hotels is from 15:00, with check-out time at 11:00.
Times may vary according to accommodation packages; please check prior to booking.
Guests who wish to use special packages, lift passes and hot spring passes, please exchange at either hotel reception desk prior to check-in.
*Guests are not allowed to enter rooms before check-in or after check-out.
When can you confirm which hotel has been booked when it’s not specified in a package?
We offer some accommodation packages where the hotel has not been specified. We can confirm which hotel the plan has been booked for [from 17:00 on the evening prior to arrival]. Please call KIRORO Resort general information line on 0135-34-7111.
Is there car parking available?
At KIRORO Resort, there are 1000 parking spots available at no cost. Please use the undercover parking area when staying at Hotel Piano (prior reservations not accepted).
Can I stay in the same room with a different accommodation plan each day?
If the room or hotel type is the same, you can stay in the same room with a different accommodation plan. Please inform the hotel if you have booked two different plans over different days.
Are humidifiers available for rent?
Yes, don’t hesitate to ask when making reservations. As we do not have a large number, there may be occasions when all humidifiers are being hired out. However, reservations are not required, and if one becomes available on the day, you may use it. Please inquire at reception.
What is the difference between Hotel Piano and Mountain Hotel?
For guests who have come primarily to ski or snowboard, we recommend staying at Mountain Hotel, as it has direct access to KIRORO Snow World ski slope.
For guests who wish to enjoy resort-style accommodation and take advantage of hot spring and pool facilities, Hotel Piano, located next to KIRORO Town, will suit their needs perfectly.
Is there somewhere for us to keep our luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes, we provide coin lockers for our guests to use. Please inquire at the front reception desk.
Are there non-smoking rooms available?
There is an entire non-smoking floor available at [Hotel Piano]. Please ask for a [non-smoking] room when making a reservation.

What room amenities are provided?
Toothbrush set, shaver, comb, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, tea set, face towel, bath towel, yukata (adult size), room slippers hair dryer, kettle, teapot, bar fridge (cooking only), cups, clothes brush, shoe horn, clothes hangers.
Please ask at reception if you require children’s size yukatas.
Can I use my laptop in the rooms?
No internet connection available in the guest room.

Wi-Fi connection is available in most of the public space except Kiroro town.

Wi-Fi connection is available in most of the public space except underground locker rooms.

Depending on their computer settings, some guests may not be able to connect to the Internet.

Is there somewhere to do laundry?
There is a “Coin-operated Laundromat” available on the 3rd floor of [Mountain Hotel] and the 4th floor of [Hotel Piano].
There is a separate dry-cleaning service available also.

Is it possible to send skis and luggage prior to check-in?
Guests who have booked can arrange to have their luggage sent to KIRORO in advance. For guests who use our winter season luggage delivery service, please confirm with [Hotel Piano] or [Mountain Hotel’s Delivery Counter] so your luggage can be collected upon arrival.

KIRORO Snow World (ski resort)

When does Kiroro Snow World open?
Kiroro Snow World opened for the 2012-2013 season on November 23rd, 2012.
We plan to open in mid-November for the 2013-2014 season.

How do I get to the ski area from Hotel Piano.
A free shuttle bus runs between Hotel Piano and the ski area and Mountain Hotel.
The bus ride is about 3 minutes.
Are there ATMs onsite?
Unfortunately, there aren’t. The nearest ATM is 23km away in Otaru City, so we advise guests to make sure they have enough cash before arriving at KIRORO. All major credit cards can be used, as well as QUICPay debit cards.

What can I find around KIRORO Resort area?
KIRORO is around 25km from Otaru by car, and has no major tourist facilities or shopping centers.
Surround yourself instead with Hokkaido’s natural wilderness and great outdoors. You can enjoy shopping within KIRORO Resort at the hotel shops and KIRORO Town.
