2025/2026 Kiroro Snow World
Snow Sports School Registration

1.Purpose

To ensure and continuously improve the safety and enjoyment of customers by guaranteeing the quality of experiences they receive at Kiroro Snow World (hereinafter referred to as “the ski resort”)


2.Subject

Any individuals, organizations, and companies that to provide lessons, regardless of whether for profit or non-profit purposes, at Kiroro Resort.


3.Snow sports school registration

To register, you must meet the 4. registration requirements, and if you do not meet these conditions, your registration may be canceled.


4.Registration Condition

The registration conditions for each item are as follows.

  • Representative
    Must hold a stage Ⅲ or Higher certification for skiing, snowboarding, or telemark skiing issued by SIA or ISIA, or an equivalent snow sports certification issued by an international skiing and snowboarding governing body.(SAJ: Qualification of at least Assistant Instructor or higher, and JSBA: Qualification of at least B-class Instructor or higher.)
  • Instructors
    Must hold snow sports certifications issued by SIA, ISIA, or an equivalent international governing body.(SAJ: Qualification of at least Certified Instructor or higher, and JSBA: Qualification of at least C-class Instructor or higher.)
  • Insurance
    Third-Party Liability Insurance (covering at least 100 million yen per incident) and Injury Insurance for Participants.
  • Employment Certificate
    Must have legal work authorization in Japan.
    For foreign employees, submit a copy of their residence card or foreign registration card showing work authorization.

5.Ineligible

Membership is not required in the following situations:

  • When schoolteachers are teaching students as part of classes at elementary, junior high, or high schools.
  • When teaching as part of activities organized by local youth sports teams or ski federations
  • When prior permission has been granted by Kiroro Snow World at its own discretion

6.Code of Conduct

Including the following items, registrants must comply with the terms of use of the ski resort under all circumstances:

  • Registrants must cooperate with the management of the ski resort and follow its instructions.
  • Registrants must not engage in prohibited behaviors that violate the ski resort’s terms of use, such as ducking under or climbing over ropes.
  • Registrants must continually strive to improve the quality of instruction and guiding.
  • When conducting lessons, the use of the course must be limited to methods approved by the ski resort.

7.Warning・Cancellation of registration

To protect product quality and registrants, if a lesson is conducted in violation of the 4. registration conditions and 6. code of conduct, the registrant will receive a warning. If the warning is not followed, the registration will be canceled. In such cases, no refunds will be issued for any reason.


8.Unregistered

It is prohibited to conduct lessons without permission in the ski resort area. If any individual or company is found conducting lessons without authorization, a warning will be issued. All business registrations and lift tickets used by the warned individual or company will be rendered invalid, and they will be denied access to the ski resort for the remainder of the season. Furthermore, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.


9.Lesson

Registrants must comply with the following items when conducting lessons under any circumstances:

  • All instructors conducting lessons must hold qualifications in snow sports issued by SIA, ISIA, or an internationally recognized governing body for skiing and snowboarding.(SAJ: Qualification of at least Certified Instructor or higher, and JSBA: Qualification of at least C-class Instructor or higher.)
  • Instructors must always carry the special Kiroca and display their armband in a visible location (one Kiroca and armband per person).
  • Lessons must prioritize general guests who are skiers or snowboarders, and instructors should cooperate and give way to other lesson groups.
  • Proper etiquette must be strictly observed on the slopes and courses.

<Note>

  • All prices are tax included.
  • Business registrants MUST purchase a dedicated lift pass.
  • Lessons cannot be conducted using special rate lift tickets such as complimentary tickets or Akaigawa village resident preferential season tickets.
  • Business registrants will receive a special Kiroca with their name and armband number. Transfer or loan of the armband to a non-registered person is not permitted. If the armband is lost or damaged, the registrant will be charged a fee for reissuing the Kiroca and a fee for the loss of the armband.
  • Please pay the registration fee at the Academy counter on the day of use.
  • For short-term business registration, a 1-day lesson is counted as one session, and you will need to register for the required number of sessions. Regarding the transition to a season registration, it will not be a difference payment but rather the full season registration fee.
  • Once the registration fee has been paid, no refunds will be issued for any reason.
  • For unregistered businesses, a fee of ¥50,000 will be charged, and we will take appropriate actions according to our company policy, including reporting to the police.

11. Application

Reception Details/Business operator registration・Lift ticket sales
Reception method /Business operator registration must be completed in person at the reception location. Please send the following required documents via email at least one week before you intend to apply:

  • Registration Application Form and Written oath
  • Employee Roster
  • Third-Party Liability Insurance (covering at least 100 million yen per incident) and Injury Insurance for Participants
  • Instructor Qualification Certificates or Certifications by Qualified Personnel for all registrants
  • Work Permits via Residence Cards or Foreigners’ Cards for all registrants.
    After reviewing the submitted information, we will send you an email with a reception number. When you come to complete the registration, please provide this reception number at the reception counter. Once the registration process is complete, you will be issued a dedicated Kiroca.

Important Notes on Registration Method:

  • Registration must be completed at least one week in advance, and a special Kiroca will be provided on the registration day.
  • A fee of ¥500 (including tax) will be charged for the reissuance of a lost special Kiroca.
  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances upon cancellation of business registration.
