Free Bus to and from Otaru Yukiakari-Go

Otaru Yukiakari

Large-scale winter event celebrating Otaru's "Yukiakari-no-Michi2
You will be visiting famous sightseeing spots across the city, but mainly along the Otaru Canal. It's worth seeing!

Operation Term February 5, 2010 (Fri) to 14 (Sun)
Intended persons Persons staying in the Kiroro Resort.
This is a round trip sightseeing excursion to and from Otaru.
Reservations Please reserve your seat in person in the reception area of the hotel by 17:00 that same day.
Reservations by phone cannot be accepted.
Capacity 80 persons per excursion, per day.
Kiroro Departure Otaru Arrival Leaves Kiroro at 19:20 (From Mountain Hotel, the bus will stop at each hotel.)
Arrives in Otaru at about 20:10
Otaru Departure Kiroro Arrival Leaves in Otaru at 21:00
Arrives in Kiroro at 21:50 (In front of each hotel)

*Due to severe weather conditions, the bus may be cancelled.

Canal Tour Route (Asakusa-bashi –Chuo-bashi-Ryugu-bashi)
Otaru Canal, a symbol of Otaru, is illuminated with lights created by many candles, some floating in the canal.
Lights everywhere: floating candles, candles along the roads, candles bearing messages, lights from the windows of the warehouses, lights in wax bowls, and many others
Temiya-sen Place (Sushiyadori-Nichigindori-Chuodori)
Part of an old railroad line, Temiya-sen (currently a walking path) will be illuminated and used as a walking path during the Yukiakari-No-Michi event.
